Tick-tock, tick-tock......

~On June 4, we found out.... we're PREGNANT!!!  

For so long, I KNEW I was supposed to have a little girl.  Matt and I had talked about it many times, but it really didn't seem to be in the cards.  When we found out, we were SO excited. 

June 27th, 2011  ~first heartbeat~

~First trimester was rough....  lots of morning sickness! 

~Cravings???  Fruit (lemons and strawberries), Veggies (asparagus and broccoli), and seafood (anything)!  This is so different than my pregnancy with Justin.  I just wanted red meat with him.  This time, I can hardly stand it.  I think Emma may be a vegetarian :)



~First baby kicks were in September.  This is absolutely the best part of pregnancy!!  For weeks I would sit so still and try to feel something.  Every little grumble or rumble in my tummy would grab my attention.  There's no mistaking the little flutter of a tiny baby kick when you first feel it though.   ~SO SWEET~



September 27, 2011 ~I'M A GIRL~



September 27, one of the imaging technicians snuck me into the hospital (early) so we could see whether it was a girl or boy.  I sort of talked him into it during a previous appointment.  Hey, I have never claimed to be patient.  Sure enough...... she's a girl!    ......but we already knew that ;)

~5 more weeks till she comes!  This picture was taken yesterday.  She is 5lbs 13oz already.  Sweet little Chunky Monkey.....  She's not as gentle as I remember Justin being, but maybe I'm just more delicate now.  Haha.  She's strong and kicks HARD.  Even though sometimes it hurts and she LOVES to keep me awake, I still love it.  I love the little reminders that this sweet little baby is growing in my belly.  I love talking to her and singing to her.... although I'm sure some of those kicks are her telling me to shut it.  :)  It's amazing how much you can love something that you've never really even seen yet.  I can't wait to kiss those fat little cheeks.  :)
